
NCMC Foundation Allied Health Scholarship application is available the beginning of July and the deadline is after the start of the fall term. The fluidity of the application availability date and deadline date is determined by the start of the term and the Labor Day holiday.
Nursing and Health Sciences students must be currently enrolled full-time or in all available hours to be eligible for a NCMC Foundation Allied Health Scholarship and have a completed scholarship application on file. Many scholarships are renewable for a second semester if the recipient maintains full-time status or all available hours and achieves a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
An award letter with scholarship details will be sent to scholarship recipients. All applicants please verify your current address is on file via myCOMPASS or by contacting the Registrar’s Office.
All scholarship recipients are strongly encouraged to write a thank you letter to the scholarship donor/representative and attend the annual Scholarship Reception. Recipients will be notified of the Scholarship Reception date by invitation.

Preference given to residents from Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, or Harrison counties. Will consider sophomores in certain Allied Health Majors, including Nursing (PN to ADN), Medical Assistant, or Medical Laboratory Technician.
Established by the family in memory of Sherry Carey.
Students must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Currently in the PN or PN to ADN program
- Excelling in academics, clinical and theory
Recipient must be in the PN or PN to ADN program.
Established through the generosity of Dr. Albert and Carol Cross. Dr. Cross practiced in the medical field in Trenton from 1963 to 1995.
Awarded to a Trenton High School graduate who is enrolled in the PN or PN to ADN program.
Scholarship is intended for Gentry County residents or the counties surrounding Gentry County. This scholarship was started in 2016 in memory of Vonda Gillespie.
Established by NCMC Practical Nursing students. Scholarship award is for the summer semester.
Student must be a Missouri Resident and meet the following:
- Not a recipient of a Pell Grant
- Currently do not work full-time
- Currently do not depend on parent’s for financial support
Established by Dr. David Ryan in memory of his mother, Maude M. Ryan. Selection for this award is contingent upon NCMC Allied Health faculty recommendation and the student must have a high academic record. Prefer-ence given to a PN to ADN student.
Established in memory of Patricia Sapko. Scholarship award is for the fall semester. Student must be enrolled in the PN, PN to ADN, EMT-Paramedic or Medical Assistant program.
Scholarship offered through the generosity of Serve Link Homecare of Trenton, MO. To be considered the student must be a resident of: Caldwell, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston, Macon, Mercer, Putnam, Chariton, or Sullivan County and enrolled in the PN or PN to ADN program.
Prefer non-traditional female who is a Grundy County Missouri resident enrolled in any Allied Health program. Award to be used for books only.
